Cheapest realistic route to a $100K account right now?

Not looking for the lowest sticker price — looking for the lowest total cost including the resets I'll realistically need. Assume I pass roughly one in three attempts.

What's actually worked out cheapest for people here?

Do the maths on reset price, not challenge price. A $400 challenge with $150 resets beats a $300 challenge with full-price retries once you're past the second attempt. At a 1-in-3 pass rate you should be budgeting for three attempts, so the reset price is most of your real cost.

Wait for a sale. Every firm runs 20-30% off several times a year, and the discount codes on this site stack with the seasonal ones more often than they should. I've never paid list price.

Two-step is cheaper than one-step in total cost even though the sticker looks higher, because the one-step drawdown rules are tighter and you'll burn more attempts. That surprised me.
